We wish to notify you that our 2022 AGM will be held on Tuesday 20th September at 8pm sharp. This year's meeting will be held via Zoom. Members must confirm their attendance by Tuesday 13th August via email to mayobullshockeyclub@gmail.com and they will receive a link to the meeting.
You will then receive the details ahead of the AGM.
All paid up members who are aged 16 or over are entitled to attend and vote at the AGM.
Notices of Motion for inclusion on the agenda must be submitted in writing no later than 7 days before the AGM (Tuesday 13th September 2022).
All nominations for the positions of the Executive Committee are to be forwarded no later than 7 days before the AGM (Tuesday 13th September 2022)

Secretary
Treasurer
Child Safety Officer
2nd Child Safety Officer (for gender balance)
Social Media
Equality and Wellbeing Officer

Executive Committee Role Descriptions
All positions are voluntary and involved in the overall development of the club. Below is a short summary of each role.
Chairperson
Oversee the direction of the club
Lead the development of inline hockey
Ensure the committee is functioning and duties being carried out
Assist committee members as necessary
Represent the club at local governing events
Ensure that policies and guidelines are up to date and liaise with committee to create new documents when necessary
Set the overall season calendar for the club
General Secretary
Act as the clubs link between committee and members
Communicate with other clubs, leagues and local community for the benefit and running of the club
Taking meeting minutes
Oversee implementation of Clubs Contribution to Development
Treasurer
Maintaining up to date accounts and inventory
Sending and ensuring payment on all relevant invoices
Chasing any outstanding debts
Ensure all ‘purchases’ are paid in timely manner
Ensuring compliance with company law
Child Safety Officer
Must have Safeguard Level 2 Training completed
Ensure all Child Safeguarding documents are present and up to date
Process new sports leaders / volunteers and ensure vetting process is completed or up to date for current and new sports leaders / volunteers
Organisation of necessary safeguard training for sports leaders / volunteers
Assisting Child Safety Officer
Must have Safeguard Level 2 Training completed
Must be of opposite sex to main CSO
Assist CSO in their duties or absence
Designated Liaison Person
Must have Safeguard Level 3 Training completed
Responsible for ensuring that reporting procedures within the Club are followed so that child welfare and protection concerns are referred promptly to Tusla.
